I am participating in the Jelly Roll Quilt Along over @ Moose On The Porch Quilts. We had to select a jelly roll to use through out the project.
My choice is Bubble Gum Basics, it has me thinking happy thoughts of Spring and Summer. Every two weeks there will be a "guest designer" who will share a block pattern using jelly roll strips. When all is done we will have 12 blocks. This is a challange for me as I am a person who likes to see where they are going and I am having to create without knowing what is coming. I am thinking "so far, so good." My greatest fear is I will end up with just "ugly" strips in the end because I used up all the good ones!
love the square
ReplyDeleteI love it! Very happy. I don't like giving up the control either. But hey new things are new things ;)
ReplyDeleteLove it--now I want to do a third one and use bubble gum fabrics!!!

Oh Cute Mom!! I love your color choice! I don't think you can end up "ugly" with those cute little patterns. Glad you are trying new things.
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow! What fun colors! That is one sweet line you are using! I love your block - very cheerful!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there ARE any ugly strips there, are there? I really love the fabric you're using. In fact, take a look at my blog in the a.m. and see the blocks on my design wall--I know I've used many of the same fabrics!
ReplyDeleteLove your first bock! Those are such fun colors! :0)
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric!
