Everything, has a start...

And this is mine...

My first five blocks for the Farmers Wife Quilt Along.  It's a bit addicting and yet, a bit over whelming at the same time.  The group on flickr is amazing and I am constantly in awe of what everyone else is doing.  There hasn't been a day go by that I haven't re-thought my blocks, because I am loving what I see others do.   It's fun creating these little guys, but I am going to take it slow.

  1. These are looking so pretty! Will you be using Denyse's line through out the blocks?

  2. If I were you, I would stop looking at that flicker pool. LoL - This is quite an undertaking and it is good that you are making it your own at your own speed. Looking forward to following your progress. Judy C

  4. Great! I love the look that your prints lend to the blocks. I agree, taking it slow is the only way to go. If Amanda and Angela hadn't said "two blocks a week" I probably wouldnt' have joined myself!
